How to log in

To log into the e-learning site, enter your username and password in the login box. Once logged in, you can access course and paper specific materials, information and study support. The site also allows for students and lecturers from across the country to connect and share information.

Students, please log in using as:

Username: your student number followed by the lower case letter 's' (s101234s or 12345s – note only lower case s)

Password: upper case ‘S’ and your date of birth (in the format ddmmyyyy) followed by ‘s$’ (i.e. Sddmmyyyys$)

You will be asked to change your password when you log in. Make sure you choose at least one upper case letter, one lower case letter, one number, and one ‘non-alphanumeric character’ (for example, ! or @ or $).

Staff, please use the log in details sent to you.

If you have forgotten your password, please click on the ‘Lost password?’ link under the log in button and a new password will be sent to your e-mail address. If you need additional help, please see the Help desk email address and telephone number below.

The resource How to use the tools on the NZCA e-learning site, which you can find on any of the course pages once you have logged in, takes you through the basics of resetting your password, editing your profile, uploading an assessment, and much more.
